Here are some typical comments from runners who have run in prototype shoes with Power Bounce inserts in the midsoles:

.

.

Bill Tuszynski, Quakertown, PA, road runner, race director, and founder of the Bux-Mont Running Club

 .

"The first time I wore shoes with Power Bounce inserts was the day after a hard 10 mile training run. I was planning on doing an easy 3 miles but the shoes were so comfortable and provided so much cushioning that I did 6 miles at 30 seconds/mile faster than I had originally intended. I have an odd gait and the wrong shoes lead to knee and hip problems. I started on Power Bounce shoes while coming off an injury and have been running freely since then. I've done three 10K races in Power Bounce shoes and have been happy with them as racing shoes. I've been recommending them to all of my running friends." Bill puts out an excellent newsletter for the Bux-Mont (Bucks-Montgomery County region of PA) runners that has a great race schedule, see link at bottom of page.

Carol Hansen Montgomery, Ocean City, NJ, road runner

"I have been running and competing in the Philadelphia area for 25 years but had run only one marathon - New York in 1985 after which I said 'never again.' However, several years ago the
Boston qualifying time for my age group was raised to a time that I thought I might be able to make. I qualified in Philadelphia
in 2003 but was beginning to have an assortment of problems. The most limiting was arthritis in my left toes which caused pain starting about 5 miles into a run and worsened. I was willing to try anything except surgery when I found out about Power Bounce inserts.  It is not an overstatement to claim that the cure was miraculous. The foot never bothered me again and I was able to continue my training. My other problems (ITB band inflammation and sciatica) also remained under control.

On
April 18, 2005 I was the second of four women over 70 to complete the Boston Marathon. Two weeks later I was first in my age group in the Philadelphia Broad Street Run."

.

.

Jerome McFadden, Marketing Manager, Bethlehem, PA, competitive indoor track runner

.

“Power Bounce inserts were installed in a pair of broken-down shoes … I now consider them to be resurrected …. I feel I get better rebound and therefore faster times for the same effort…. I now use Power Bounce shoes whenever doing high-quality speed work”

.

.

Nancy Williams, Pen Argyl, PA, track and road runner

.

“Shoes with Power Bounce feel better and lighter ….when I first tried them for my track workouts, I didn’t want to take them off”
